Early on the second day, we will take the bus for a 30-minute journey to this sacred site. We will witness the most magical moment: sunrise at Machu Picchu, when the first rays of sunlight illuminate the majestic mountains that guard this Inca sanctuary. We will walk for 10 minutes to reach the highest point, a privileged viewpoint known as the House of the Guardians. From there, you will enjoy spectacular views and feel an immense and indescribable peace, characteristic of this sacred place. Machu Picchu is located at the confluence of the Andes and the Amazon (the Andean foothills), surrounded by lush tropical vegetation year-round. Itinerary

We will begin the tour in the main square of Cusco, and then head towards the lower part of the San Sebastian-Enaco district. From there, our transport will take us to the Yunkaypata mountains, where we will continue our journey, passing by the archaeological sites of Tambomachay and Puka Pukara, as well as a eucalyptus forest and the San Cristobal viewpoint. We will enjoy beautiful views of the agricultural fields, allowing us to observe the daily life and traditions of the local Andean communities. This will conclude our cycling tour in Cusco.

Cuzco - Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 6:40 and 6:50 a.m. We will travel by private transport to the train station in Poroy (25-30 minutes from Cusco). The train journey is a magical experience in itself, offering spectacular views of the sacred Inca land: imposing mountain landscapes and deep valleys, ancient agricultural terraces along the valley, majestic snow-capped peaks, and the transition into the subtropical cloud forest. From Pachar, the sacred Vilcanota River will accompany us on our journey until we reach Aguas Calientes (2,040 m above sea level), also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. A representative from Machu Picchu Mystical Tour will meet you at the train station and escort you to your accommodation, where you can settle in, relax, and enjoy your included lunch. Sunrise at Machu Picchu - Return to Cusco

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation. We will walk 5 minutes to the bus station to begin the most anticipated part of the day: a 40-minute zigzag climb to the Sacred Citadel of Machu Picchu. Important: Please bring your original passport; it is mandatory to show it at the entrance control point. The Machu Picchu Sanctuary opens its gates at 6:00 a.m., allowing us to witness the magical sunrise over the ancient mountains. The previous evening, your guide will explain all the tour details to ensure you make the most of this unique experience. Guided Tour (2–2.5 hours): Our expert guide will lead you through the most important areas of the Inca sanctuary: Panoramic viewpoints (Guardhouse) Sacred ceremonial temples Royal and noble residences Main plazas and agricultural terraces Time to capture the best photos Note: Since 2022, the National Park has established 3 official circuits.
